April 1 – Reuters reports Pfizer and BioNTech “halted a large U.S. trial of their updated COVID-19 vaccine in healthy adults aged 50 to 64, saying enrollment in the trials had been too low to generate the needed data… The move comes as COVID vaccine makers grapple with pushback from the U.S. administration and weak U.S. demand for the shots. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration toughened requirements for COVID vaccine use last year, including asking for large, placebo-controlled trials in the 50-64 age group for it to be included in recommendations. Pfizer and BioNTech told Reuters they had informed the FDA about their intent to halt the COVID-19 vaccine study, citing challenges getting enough participants. The target enrollment was roughly 25,000 to 30,000 participants… Currently, no COVID-19 vaccines have full FDA approval for healthy adults aged 50 to 64… Moderna is running a similar U.S. study with an aim to enroll 30,000 volunteers, and is also facing recruitment challenges… Only about 18% of Americans received a COVID booster during the 2025-26 season, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, even as the virus continues to cause tens of thousands of deaths each year, including an estimated 8,000 to 12,000 among adults aged 50 to 64.” All very good news…
April 6 – HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy responds to the judicial overreach (see March 16th) that nixed the hand-picked panel he appointed to the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) by changing and renewing the ACIP charter. According to the notice posted at the Federal Register website, the criteria for selecting a new ACIP panel now requires “[c]ommittee membership be fairly balanced in terms of points of view represented… Consideration is also given to representation from diverse geographic areas and diverse viewpoints… Efforts are made to ensure that voting members come from states representing a diversity of geographic locations within the U.S.” The charter also requires a balance of specialty areas which now includes “biostatistics, toxicology, immunology, epidemiology, pediatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, nursing, consumer issues, state and local health department perspective, academic perspective, [and] public health perspective…”
As you would expect, Big Pharma lackeys across the board are expressing their displeasure with the new arrangement… Take, for example, Phil Taylor writing at the Pharma Phorum website. Our buddy Phil claims, “[t]he highly controversial move has led to accusations that Kennedy has populated the committee with individuals who share his vaccine-sceptic stance and, in some cases, have links to organisations that have expressed anti-vaccine sentiments in the past… Now, the charter gives Kennedy the right to appoint ACIP members, without going through the usual vetting processes to guarantee expertise in vaccines… The federal lawsuit, which was brought by the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) and other [useless] medical organisations, argued that the changes to vaccine policy being pushed through by the ACIP would lead to reduced protection, particularly for children, and would be detrimental to public health.” What Phil leaves out, however, is how the changes made to federal policies and recommendations have taken nothing away from anyone. People can still get every vaccine that was available before the MAHA crew took over our federal health agencies, including the vaunted COVID clot shots… What can I say? Deal with it, Phil.
Update (5/19/26): Reuters reports Kennedy has now “backed away” from the changes he made to the ACIP charter. According to the two twits who wrote the linked article (yes, it took two numbskulls to produce the piece), “Kennedy’s allies praised the charter, while his critics said it could open the door for the secretary to simply reappoint some of the same advisory committee members the federal judge just blocked. Kennedy’s Health and Human Services Department… withdrew that document [yesterday], without releasing a new version. A replacement charter, signed by Kennedy on May 14 and reviewed by Reuters, no longer contains the requirements for a toxicologist, data scientist and other specific area knowledge. Rather, it says members shall represent ‘a balanced range of scientific, clinical and public health expertise.’ The changes to the charter were directed in part by top White House and HHS officials, to make it less far-reaching and more likely to survive legal scrutiny, according to a person familiar with the matter. The new charter would become official once it is published in the federal register, though that date is unclear… Kennedy retains the ultimate authority to name ACIP members under the newest version of the charter. Reuters could not determine how it might affect any new appointments by Kennedy.” No surprise there…
The twits continue, “[t]he change comes amid a broader shakeup of the federal health department that has helped the Trump administration exert more control over personnel decisions under Kennedy. White House advisers have asked Kennedy to set aside unpopular vaccine-related initiatives out of concern it could hurt President Donald Trump’s Republican party as it seeks to retain slim congressional majorities in November elections. Still, top Kennedy deputies continue to pursue vaccine injury studies despite the White House instruction to stay away from the issue, according to two senior administration officials, who requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly… Kennedy and anti-vaccine allies have long been critical of mRNA-based shots, especially widely used COVID-19 vaccines, despite evidence that they are safe and highly effective.” Not safe. Not effective. Man, I can’t stand these people… Can you still say “these people”?
April 8 – A study is published on the JAMA Network website titled, “DSM-5 Changes, COVID-19, and ADHD Diagnosis Rates in Individuals Younger Than 30 Years.” Using two decades of data from British Columbia, Canada (2003-2023), researchers looked at the health outcomes of nearly 2.75 million people ages 3-29 to examine how the rate of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) diagnoses have changed over time, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. They found there was not only a steady upward trend during these years, but a sharp increase immediately following the COVID saga (2021-2023).
“Between 2003 and 2023, 110 874 males… and 74 264 females… were newly diagnosed with ADHD. There was an increasing incidence of ADHD diagnoses in the cohort prior to intervention (2003-2012). Following DSM-5 implementation (2014-2019), incidence accelerated among elementary school-aged male children… and female children… High school-aged male adolescents… and female adolescents… showed nearly parallel increases. Post-COVID-19 (2021-2023), the largest immediate incidence increases were observed among high school-aged female adolescents, from 86.8 per 10 000… in 2019 to 203.7 per 10 000… in 2021, and among female young adults, from 54.1 per 10 000… to 183.2 per 10 000… Meanwhile, the most pronounced trend accelerations post-COVID-19 were observed among elementary school-aged male children…
“Increasing public and clinical awareness of ADHD may have contributed to greater recognition and help-seeking. Revisions in DSM-5, including changes to diagnostic wording emphasizing functional interference rather than clinically significant impairment, may have broadened diagnostic identification. Pandemic-related stressors may have further intensified ADHD symptoms and facilitated the identification of previously unmet needs, with female adolescents and young adults potentially being more vulnerable to social disruptions than males.”

April 9 – According to a report released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), fertility rates in the US have declined to the lowest level in modern American history at just 53.1 births per 1,000 women aged 15-44. Since 2007, the overall fertility rate has decreased by 23%, including a sharp 5.7% decline beginning in 2021. Nic Hulscher points out “[w]hile falling birth rates can be attributed to economic hardship, delayed marriage, cultural shifts, and changing lifestyle preferences, the scale and persistence of this decline suggest biological impairment driven by exposure to environmental toxins such as PFAS (‘forever chemicals’), phthalates, BPA/plastics, pesticides, EMFs, heavy metals, air pollution, and most recently, mRNA injections. Since 2021, 80% of Americans [have been] injected with COVID-19 gene-transfer shots that damage the reproductive system… In animal models, they destroy over 60% of women’s non-renewable egg supply… In human data (n=1.3 million), vaccinated women have ~33% fewer successful pregnancies… The implications of this collapse are profound and far-reaching. America is no longer reproducing at replacement levels needed to sustain its population. If these trends continue unchecked, the nation will face severe economic, demographic, and societal consequences in the decades ahead.”

April 10 – The Independent Medical Alliance (IMA) has been named a liaison to assist the CDC’s ACIP review panel. This is the first time a national coalition of independent practicing physicians has had a seat at the ACIP table. The IMA represents over 12,000 doctors, researchers, and clinicians from around the country. Needless to say, this is a fantastic development…
April 15 – According to a report out of the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the federal government lost between $233B and $521B – annually – between the years 2018 and 2022 due to fraud… “Understanding the scope of the problem and the impacts of both financial and nonfinancial benefits fraud are critical to combating it in government programs and operations. In this regard, fraud risk increased significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the federal government provided about $4.5 trillion in relief funds for response and recovery efforts. The emergency environment and the need to distribute the funds quickly provided increased opportunities for fraud against federal programs, including those that are state administered… Based on statistical sampling and imputation techniques, we estimated that the amount of fraud in UI [unemployment insurance] programs during the COVID-19 pandemic was likely between $100 billion and $135 billion. This is about 11 percent to 15 percent of the total amount of UI benefits paid during the pandemic.” For more details, see this breakdown by the Epoch Times.
April 16 – Robert Kennedy testifies before the House Ways and Means Committee about the health policies of the Trump administration. After the opening statement made by Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO), ranking member Richard Neal (D-MA) immediately began lying and parroting Democrat party talking points. Some of these falsehoods include the ridiculous claim the American people are being “preyed upon by [the] demagoguery” of the Trump admin, the cuts being made at HHS are to fund tax cuts for the wealthy, the “damage” being done by “baseless claims” about Tylenol and autism could be “catastrophic,” and that the Trump admin is “attacking” childcare providers.
When Neal wrapped up. Kennedy got the chance to give his opening statement (11:30 mark) in which he pointed out some of the many “historic wins” HHS and the Trump administration have achieved in just a year and a half including lowering the prices of pharmaceuticals, the “eat real food” initiative, and cracking down on Medicaid/Medicare fraud. With regard to the latter, later in the hearing Kennedy told the committee over one million illegal immigrants were receiving benefits, and there were 3.7 million people either collecting benefits in two different states or receiving Medicaid benefits while also receiving federal insurance under Obamacare at the same time (which is illegal). He also said by tightening up recipient requirements and closing loopholes federal programs will be abused less going forward (3:48:00 mark).
Now, if you are a reader of this site or just someone who spends time watching federal committee hearings, you already know how the rest of the hearing went… Republican members used their time to discuss actual issues and ask real questions, while the dimwitted and disingenuous Democrat members beclowned themselves by repeatedly attacking the various straw man arguments they created. Case in point: Democrat Rep. Mike Thompson of California (37:45 mark). Thompson began with what he thought was a “gotcha” before blathering on like a twit… “Mr. Secretary, let’s start with an easy one – do you have a medical or public health degree? [Kennedy responds by saying “no”] Yet you are overruling doctors, scientists, and public health experts across our country. Your dangerous conspiracy theories are undermining safe and effective vaccines…” He then tried to blame Kennedy for the phony measles epidemic (2300 cases in total), claiming “kids have died because measles is running rampant on your watch in large part because President Trump allows your conspiracy theories to run our public health.” It should come as no surprise Thompson has taken in over $275K in campaign donations from the health industry for the 2026 election cycle alone…
Later in the hearing, Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) went on the attack by spewing nonsense for several straight minutes (1:03:55 mark). When Kennedy tried to respond to “a lot of the misinformation” she was ranting about, Sanchez would not allow it and tried to talk over him and blame him for the nonexistent measles crisis by claiming “no country has seen a bigger increase in percentage [of measles cases].” Thankfully, Kennedy pushed back on her erroneous claim by pointing out Mexico has three times the number of cases and a third of our population, while Canada has double the number of cases and just an eighth of our population. Like all Democrats, however, the factual information went in one ear and directly out the other as Sanchez – who looks like she wears the same size clothing as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man – proceeded to whine about a taxpayer-funded workout video featuring Kid Rock and Kennedy “drink[ing] milk shirtless in a hot tub.” Haters gonna hate…
Throughout the hearing, representatives like Suzan DelBene (D-WA), Judy Chu (D-CA), Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), Brad Schneider (D-IL), Steve Horsford (D-NV), and Tom Suozzi (D-NY) did an excellent job demonstrating how half of our elected representatives are completely useless. To be fair, Democrat Rep. Gwen Moore of Wisconsin (1:52:00 mark) was at least respectful during her five minutes and tried to offer legitimate criticism of the federal spending cuts Kennedy has been overseeing and defending.
Update (4/22/26): While testifying at a Senate Finance Committee hearing, Kennedy is accused (47:00 mark) by political lightweight Maggie Hassan (D-NH) of “doing a lot of… self-promotion using official government channels and resources” before bringing up the Kid Rock video. Kennedy responded to the accusation by informing her the video cost taxpayers nothing… Nice try, Mags.
- RFK also testifies before the House Appropriations committee about HHS’s 2027 budget request. Sorry, readers. You’re on your own for this one. There are only so many hours in a day and only so much of these people I can take…
- President Trump nominates Dr. Erica Schwartz to become the new director of the CDC, Sean Slovenski for CDC Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Jennifer Shuford for CDC Deputy Director and Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Sara Brenner as the Senior Counselor for Public Health.
April 17 – RFK testifies at yet another hearing to discuss the 2027 HHS budget, this time with the House Education and Workforce Committee. As you would expect, the hearing played out almost the exact same way as the one I wrote up yesterday – false accusations, ad hominem attacks, and just a lot of Democrat stupidity in general… However, I do want to draw your attention to one exchange (18:00 mark) Kennedy had with Committee Chairman Tim Wahlberg (R-MI), which started when Wahlberg asked him a “burning question in inquiring minds” – whether or not he was responsible for the measles outbreak going on in the US and around the world. Kennedy responded by saying in part, “[t]he measles outbreak began in January 2025 before I took office. Almost 90% of the people affected are over five years old, so… their decision to not vaccinate pre-dated my occupation of this seat. The measles outbreak is not an American phenomenon. It’s global. It’s happening all over the world. And we’ve done better under my leadership than any country in the world in limiting it. Last year, we had approximately 2,200 cases. Mexico had more than three times that number and they have one-third of our population. Canada had double that number and they have one-eighth of our population. Europe had almost 10 times that number and they only have double of [sic] our population. Many other countries have lost their elimination status. Canada lost it. Britain lost it. These are countries I haven’t visited in years. Many European countries have lost it. Austria and others…
“I want to say something because two little girls died tragically in the Mennonite community in Texas. Mennonites have not vaccinated since 1796. So this had nothing to do with me. I went to the funeral of one of those little girls and I spent a day with the family of the other, and both of them told me that when they took their children to the hospital, they were treated as pariahs. They were shamed. They were not given proper treatments. Both families believe their daughters, and their own doctors believe their daughters could have been saved if the hospital gave them proper treatment. The fact that they did not have a proper treatment to give them is regulatory practice by this agency. This agency has been so focused on a single intervention that it does not advise doctors about how to treat people who are actually sick. There’s a lot of people in this country who for religious reasons or other reasons are not gonna vaccinate. And I believe that we need to treat them with compassion and understanding and empathy and get them the treatments that they would get anywhere else in the world except for this country.”
Also be sure to check out the exchange (1:26:55 mark) Kennedy had with the disingenuous Lucy McBath (D-GA) who – when she wasn’t busy “reclaiming [her] time” (she did this seven times in about five minutes) – complained about his stance on fluoride in drinking water, demanded an apology for comments he previously made about children with disabilities, and tried to get him to say gun violence is a health epidemic that should be regulated by the Department of Health and Human Services… To say McBath the Fluoride Lover isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed would be quite the understatement.
April 20 – Secretary of War Pete Hegseth signs a memorandum ending mandatory flu vaccines “for all Active and Reserve Component Service members and Department of War civilian personnel.” The move ends a blanket mandate which had been enforced for over 70 years. Also see this.
April 22 – Robert Kennedy testifies before the Senate Finance Committee about HHS’s 2027 budget request. During the hearing there were several heated exchanges between Kennedy and the usual cast of Democrat miscreants including Miserable Maggie Hassan (NH), Pocahontas (MA), and Marxist agitator Raphael Warnock (GA).
After the epic fail mentioned above, Hassan used the rest of her time to berate Kennedy and accuse him of wrongdoing, saying in part (50:05 mark), “You’re making extraordinary changes to the vaccine charter so that you will be able to bring on quacks and conspiracy theorists to guide vaccine policy in this country, and you haven’t discussed it with the president. Look, I am asking these questions because it appears to me that you are focused on promoting yourself over everyone else, promoting your own theories over actual scientific inquiry, promoting your own unqualified lackeys over doctors and scientists, and promoting images where you think you look cool rather than messages that will help people live healthier lives. It is always about you and building a platform for yourself, which means it’s never about the American people or the public’s health and safety.” What a witch.
Speaking of witches… When Pocahontas got her opportunity to question Kennedy she used her time to attack the TrumpRx website, stating (1:02:55 mark), “So, after President Trump and the Republicans slashed healthcare for millions of families [never happened], the president pitched his TrumpRX website as the answer for Americans who are worried about healthcare costs. He claims that TrumpRX has reduced prices by as much as 600%… which I think means companies should be paying you to take their drugs.” She then went on to compare apples to oranges by listing the price differences of name brand and generic drugs. Perhaps Pocahontas doesn’t understand that TrumpRX only discounts name brand drugs, and that no one is forced to buy anything at that website. In some cases, it simply makes very expensive name brand medications available for a lot less money.
Undeterred by reality and needing to complain about something, she concluded her deceitful rant by saying, “In exchange for these scam discounts, President Trump has exempted these drug companies from his 100% tariffs. So think about that. Big Pharma makes billions of dollars in tariff relief by listing their drugs on TrumpRX, and then they don’t even lower the costs of many of these drugs. That is a great deal for Big Pharma… Did you sign off on these sweetheart deals for Big Pharma or was this all President Trump’s idea?” Kennedy responded by explaining the tariff relief is only available to companies that produce their drugs here in America, and that they have one year to comply. Warren then created a straw man by insinuating the administration was hiding the details of the deals because they are corrupt when she knows full well it is due to the proprietary information contained within them. Having had enough of her antics, Kennedy lashed out, saying (1:07:40 mark), “You have the power to make this deal yourself. Why don’t you do that? We did this because you refused to do it. You have a lot more power to negotiate than we do… The millions of people who are using TrumpRX disagree with you.”
Not to be outdone by his dopey colleague, Senator Warnock went off on a tangent (2:25:20 mark) about rabies and how deadly it can be if left untreated before foolishly accusing Kennedy of “gutting the very offices that keep American families safe from disturbing and deadly infectious diseases…” That’s when Kennedy had to break the news to him that the US experiences just 1-3 cases of rabies PER YEAR, adding, “I think one person manning that office full time probably can handle that traffic.” Warnock is such a clown! Sheldon White[’s only]house (D-RI), Peter Welch (D-VT), and Comrade Bernie (C-VT) also made jackasses of themselves during the hearing (they go back to back to back starting at the 2:07:45 mark). Also see this.
- Jay Bhattacharya, the Director of the National Institutes of Health (and acting CDC Director), blocks the publication of a study which supposedly showed the COVID clot shots to be effective against severe illness and hospitalizations. Mainstream media outlets like XiNN and The Hill are busy implying this was done for political reasons as they simultaneously report the actual reason – the methodology was flawed. According to Medpage Today, “[o]ne way scientists have studied COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness is by focusing on sick people who were admitted to hospitals or visited emergency departments (EDs). The researchers check whether patients were vaccinated and then calculate the odds of a positive COVID-19 test among vaccinated patients versus those who were unvaccinated… Following the same approach, the new study concluded that the vaccine cut ED visits and hospitalizations among otherwise healthy adults by about half this past winter.” Check out this breakdown by Steve Kirsch for more details about the study’s flawed methodology.
April 23 – Nic Hulscher reports on the latest cancer surveillance data out of the National Cancer Institute and the numbers are not good. According to the article, “cancer incidence rates among Americans under age 50 jumped 6.4% between 2021 and 2023 – with colon/rectal cancer (+19.4%), brain tumors (+19.5%), small intestine (+15.5%), ovarian (+12.8%), stomach (+7.3%), and breast cancer (+3.6%) all showing very alarming signals… Early-onset cancers (under 50) were already rising slowly for years, but the post-2021 acceleration is unmistakable – and it lines up precisely with the rollout of mass mRNA shots starting in late 2020/early 2021… This latest SEER data corroborates several major independent analyses pointing in the same direction… In a 30-month population-wide analysis of 296,015 residents in Pescara Province, Italy, individuals who received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine showed a 23% higher likelihood of hospitalization for cancer of any site… compared to the unvaccinated. Risks were particularly elevated for colorectal, breast, and bladder cancers…
“A separate large-scale South Korean study involving over 8.4 million individuals found that COVID-19 vaccination was associated with increased 1-year risks for 6 major cancers: thyroid, gastric, colorectal, lung, breast, and prostate. Independent CDC WONDER data analysis shows 138,000+ excess cancer deaths in the U.S. since the beginning of mass mRNA vaccination, with a clear inflection point in cancer mortality starting in spring 2021. We now have U.S. incidence rates, Italian hospitalization data, Korean risk data, and CDC-derived excess mortality – all converging on the same troubling signal. The current SEER data stops at 2023. The next update will be critical. If the upward trend continues or steepens in the 2024 data, the case for a mRNA ‘vaccine’ cancer acceleration becomes unmistakable.”

April 25 – Another bloodthirsty leftist tries to shoot President Trump, this time at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD) which was taking place at the Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. According to initial reporting, the president and first lady, among others, were rushed out after several gunshots were heard on the premises. Unsurprisingly, Trump wanted to “let the show go on” after the incident, but law enforcement ultimately decided against it. The would-be assassin, who was armed with guns and knives, was subdued and taken into custody after sprinting past security and shooting an officer while trying to storm into the event. Thankfully, the officer was wearing a bulletproof vest and was unharmed by the deranged Democrat.
Earlier in the week, 250 so-called “journalists” signed an open letter to the White House Correspondents’ Association calling on them to “forcefully demonstrate opposition to President Trump’s efforts to trample freedom of the press.” In addition to these morons fighting battles that only exist in their minds, their hateful and inflammatory rhetoric serves to wind up useful idiot lunatics who wrongly believe killing the president will somehow make them a hero and the savior of democracy… Sad!
Update: The would-be assassin has been identified as 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen from Torrance, California. Police believe the man, who worked as a teacher before trying to mass murder his perceived political enemies, was a registered guest at the hotel. So did he walk in with all of the weapons, or were they provided by someone else? Also see this.

I’m sure the commies in California will nominate him for teacher of the year now…
Update 2 (4/26/26): CBS reports the would-be killer, like most of the other deranged leftists who try to kill people, wrote a “manifesto” which he emailed to his family days earlier. In it, he admitted he planned to target members of the Trump 2.0 administration “prioritized from highest-ranking to lowest.”
Update 3 (4/26/26): Project Constitution takes to X to post a 2017 interview with ABC in which the would-be killer discussed a wheelchair brake he invented while studying engineering at CalTech… How does a seemingly normal and intelligent person become convinced they need to try to assassinate the leader of a country?
Update 4 (4/27/26): I think we found our answer… Kanekoa News publishes an article titled, “He Tried to Kill the President. I Found His Tweets.” In the piece, Kanekoa points out “[w]hat radicalized him weren’t fringe accounts. They were the same talking points repeated every day on the left… He shared sitting Democrats – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, J.B. Pritzker, Elizabeth Warren, Sheldon Whitehouse… He retweeted mainstream Democrat commentators comparing Trump to Hitler… Once Trump won [the 2024 election], Allen accepted the framing that a ‘fascist convicted felon’ had become president…” Check out the article for the rest of the insanity (and this). If you want to watch the unfunny John Stewart stooping to new lows in his coverage of the incident, see this.
Update 5 (5/4/26): Fox News reports far-left US Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui apologized to the would-be killer for the treatment he has received since his arrest during an emergency hearing. Faruqui was apparently unaware he was placed on suicide watch by the Department of Corrections because he told FBI agents on the night of the shooting he did not expect to survive.
Now seems like a good time to point out how if you walked inside the Capitol Building on January 6th, 2021, a corrupt D.C. judge called you an insurrectionist and threw the book at you… And if you were a pro-life activist who was arrested for protesting outside an abortion clinic, a corrupt D.C. judge claimed you were part of a conspiracy to violate patient rights and threw the book at you (also see this)… But if you try to murder a room full of Republicans and shoot a cop in the process, a corrupt D.C. judge will express concern over your constitutional rights potentially being violated and the lack of recreation time you’ve been receiving in the slammer. If it wasn’t for double standards, the left would have no standards at all. Also see this.
Update 6 (5/5/26): Allen is formally charged with attempting to assassinate the president, assaulting an officer with a deadly weapon, transporting a firearm with the intent to commit a felony, and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence.
Update 7 (5/11/26): Allen appears in court for his arraignment and pleads not guilty to all charges. His lawyers are also arguing that since Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and US Attorney Jeanine Pirro were in attendance at the WHCD they could be considered victims or witnesses, and this creates at least the appearance of a conflict of interest. No decision has yet been made regarding their possible recusal.
April 27 – Connecticut’s Democrat governor Ned Lamont signs legislation “protecting the ability of Connecticut residents to continue accessing life-saving vaccines amid recent political actions at the federal level that threaten standards supported by the medical community for generations.” Considering the fact no vaccines have been prohibited in any way, this aspect of House Bill 5044 is more about politics and manipulating the minds of Democrat voters. What isn’t mentioned in the press release, however, is that this bill is intended to strengthen the ban on religious exemptions for vaccines.
According to a summary of the legislation, “In 2022, parents from a few Connecticut municipalities filed a lawsuit against the governor and the education and public health commissioners claiming that the legislature’s 2021 repeal of the religious exemption from school immunization requirements violated state and federal religious freedom protections. In July 2024, the state Supreme Court dismissed the parents’ claims under the Connecticut and U.S. constitutions but allowed their claims made under state statute [Religious Freedom Restoration Act] to proceed… The case is currently pending in Connecticut Superior Court.”
- A study is published at preprints.org titled, “A Batch-Dependent Safety Signal Related to All-Cause Mortality Associated with COVID-19 Vaccination.” Using nationwide data from the Czech Republic (December 2020 to September 2022), researchers discovered a strong association between specific early batches of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and AstraZeneca COVID vaccines and significantly higher three-month all-cause mortality. For Pfizer, death rates ranged wildly from 0 to 1,124 deaths per 100K doses depending on the batch. While the outlier batches (blue dots below) accounted for less than 5% of the total number of administered doses, they were connected to 11.3% of all deaths. For Moderna, death rates swung even more wildly from 0 to 2,385 deaths per 100K doses depending on the batch. The two outlier batches, while accounting for only 2% of all administered doses, triggered 7.5% of the deaths (an average of 1,971 deaths per 100K doses). AstraZeneca’s death rate varied less at 324 to 1,072 deaths per 100K doses administered, with one outlier batch accounting for 4.7% of the total number of deaths. Also see this.

April 28 – The Department of Justice indicts former NIAID official and long time advisor to The Twerp, David Morens, “for his role in a scheme to evade Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in connection with COVID-19 research grants.” Morens is being charged with “conspiracy against the United States; destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; concealment, removal, or mutilation of records; and aiding and abetting… The indictment alleges that the conspirators used Morens’s personal Gmail account to exchange non-public NIH information; correspond about their efforts to influence NIH to fund Company #1; exchange edits to drafts of letters addressed to NIH leadership for Company #1 and Co-Conspirator 1; and ‘back-channel’ information to Senior NIAID Official 1…
“Additionally, the indictment further alleges that Morens and Co-Conspirator 1 conspired to pay illegal gratuities. The indictment states that Co-Coconspirator 1 gifted Morens wine for his ‘behind-the-scenes shenanigans,’ and arranged for its delivery to Morens’s residence in Maryland. Morens then allegedly identified an official act that he could perform to ‘deserve’ the gift, which was a scientific commentary in a prominent medical journal advocating that COVID-19 had natural origins. The indictment further alleges that Co-Conspirator 1 suggested he would provide Morens with additional things of value, including meals at Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris, New York, and Washington, D.C. If convicted, Morens faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison for conspiracy against the United States, a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison for each count of destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations, and a maximum penalty of three years in prison for each count of concealment, removal, or mutilation of records.”
I’ve been at this too long to get overly excited about what could end up being actual accountability, but this is certainly a positive development. I am also very curious to learn the identity of the two unnamed co-conspirators, as well as “Company 1.”
April 28 (entry 2) – Paul Thacker publishes a lengthy article at RealClearInvestigations (RCI) titled, “COVID Cover-Up: Hiding Star Researcher Ralph Baric’s Ties to Global Pandemic.” According to Thacker, “the federal government has quietly removed Baric from all his NIH grants… [and] UNC placed Baric on leave. UNC has also refused to cooperate with NIH officials as they have attempted to gather more facts and emails about Baric’s coronavirus research, which evidence leads them to believe led to the coronavirus pandemic.” In case you don’t recall, Baric’s work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (along with Chinese virologist Shi Zhengli – aka “The Bat Woman”) specialized in the creation of chimeric viruses, and it is widely believed by many researchers this work led directly to the creation of SARS-CoV-2. According to one researcher “whose security clearance allowed him to view still-classified documents told RCI there is no doubt the virus came from a lab in Wuhan. ‘This is a good view of what happened to virology,’ he said. ‘They started willy nilly mutating viruses, and then got upset when this led to 20 million deaths.’”
Providing additional background information, Thacker writes, “Baric’s virus research has long been controversial as he pioneered ‘gain-of-function’ studies, which design viruses with unique genetic features that make them either more deadly to humans or more likely to cause an infection. This line of research posits that generating deadly viruses in labs allows scientists to create treatments before a similar pathogen evolves in the wild and begins killing humans. Federal funding for studies to enhance viruses hit a snag in 2011 when Ron Fouchier of Erasmus Medical Center and Yoshihiro Kawaoka at the University of Wisconsin created a new and deadly flu virus that could spread through the air. Fearing the virus could be used as a bioweapon, the U.S. National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity asked two scientific journals to delete details of the scientific methods and specific mutations in the Fouchier and Kawaoka studies on the lab-engineered bird flu. Public outcries then prompted the Obama administration to call for new rules on gain-of-function studies. In 2014, the federal government released guidelines which NIH director Francis Collins said would help ‘preserve the benefits of life-science research while minimizing the risk of misuse.’ But these rules did little to slow dangerous studies…
“Within weeks, the virology community was hit with a bracing setback. Following poor safety procedures, dozens of CDC workers were potentially exposed to anthrax, and vials of smallpox virus were found unsecured in an NIH storeroom. In response, the Obama White House announced a pause on all gain-of-function virus research so the risks and benefits could be better assessed. The researcher most affected by the pause was Ralph Baric, who was described as America’s ‘foremost coronavirus biologist’ in an NPR report headlined, ‘How A Tilt Toward Safety Stopped A Scientist’s Virus Research.’ Referring to gain-of-function research, David Relman, a microbiologist at Stanford University, told NPR, ‘I don’t think it’s wise or appropriate for us to create large risks that don’t already exist.’ Baric, however, countered that his animal experiments on the SARS and MERS viruses posed no threat to people. ‘[Number one], mice don’t sneeze,’ he told NPR. Baric also told NPR that he would accede to the ban. ‘The NIH has asked me to stop those experiments,’ Baric said, ‘and so we have stopped those experiments.’ But in the waning days of the Obama administration, the government sought to draft new guidelines that would lift this pause on dangerous studies. Newly disclosed emails acquired by RCI show that NIH officials under Anthony Fauci and Baric’s former employee, virologist Matt Frieman, began a secret lobbying campaign to influence the Obama White House to ensure recommendations would not inhibit scientific funding.”
As Thacker goes on to point out, “[r]esearch labs have multiple streams of funding, and scientists often do many of the proposed experiments to get initial results before submitting grants.” Check out the article for the rest of the story about the gain-of-function research trail that led directly to the COVID-19 pandemic. April 29 – The Senate’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations holds a hearing titled, “Unmasked: How Biden Health Officials Purposely Turned a Blind Eye Toward COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Signals.” The committee also released a 40-page report with the same title… According to said report, “beginning in early 2021, Dr. Ana Szarfman, who at the time was a senior medical officer and safety data mining developer at the Food and Drug Administration (‘FDA’), used an updated data analysis technique that identified dozens of statistically significant safety signals for adverse events associated with the COVID-19 vaccines. She immediately shared her findings with other FDA officials, including officials responsible for COVID-19 vaccine safety surveillance, but they largely ignored her and eventually told her to stop her data analyses…
“Specifically, on March 26, 2021, Dr. Szarfman, who worked in the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (‘CDER’), shared a data mining analysis of COVID-19 vaccine adverse events using a newer methodology that reduced masking. Masking is a known data limitation with FDA’s current data mining method that can inhibit the detection of safety signals for adverse events. Dr. Szarfman’s analysis… found ‘49 examples of extreme masking’ with over twenty of those examples of adverse events now showing a statistically significant safety signal when adjusted for masking. In other words, by using a methodology that accounted for the masking limitation, [the researchers] uncovered approximately 25 statistically significant safety signals for adverse events associated with the COVID-19 vaccines that were not previously detected by FDA’s current methodology, including sudden cardiac death, Bell’s palsy, and pulmonary infarction.”
During Chairman Ron Johnson’s opening statement, he summarized the contents of the report and pointed out how Dr. Szarfman’s work was viewed as a “major distraction” that could “feed into anti-vaccination rhetoric” by those who wished to keep the safety signals hidden from the public (including the infamous Peter Marks, the FDA’s former top vaccine official – see March 28, 2025). Unsurprisingly, when ranking member Richard Blumenthal gave his opening remarks he downplayed the findings and shilled for Big Pharma, stating in part, “we ought to remember what it was like during the height of the COVID pandemic. Literally the fear, the death, the loss, and then the relief as a result of Operation Warp Speed, which President Trump ordered in having a vaccine that gave people hope and many people life. At the same time, none of the relief or hope enabled loved ones to come back. They lost lives and families had their lives upended. And we can never forget the heroes in our health care system who braved COVID in delivering care to people who needed it in hospitals, many of them for weeks, sometimes months… Years of scientific analysis have shown that COVID-19 vaccines saved lives and prevented serious illnesses… But instead of talking about the success and remembering the ones we lost, vaccine opponents have turned one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs in our country’s history into a fodder for political attack. I don’t get it.” That’s because you’re either not bright or a liar, Dick. And the shots did the exact opposite of what you claim… Kudos to Senator Johnson and his staff for continuing to expose how badly we were lied to by China Joe’s health officials, and drawing attention to the harm caused by the COVID clot shots. A chart displayed by Johnson during the hearing showing “3 million saved lives” is a lie.
- The Trump 2.0 administration appeals the March 16th ruling that blocked RFK’s changes to the CDC’s ACIP panel and the recommended childhood vaccine schedule. According to Reuters, “[a]ny appeal would be heard by the Boston-based 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which is dominated by judges appointed by Democratic presidents. Any appellate court ruling could later be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.”
April 30 – Trump nominates Dr. Nicole Saphier to be the next Surgeon General of the United States after the nomination of Casey Means stalled out in the Senate. While I’m not too familiar with her, the fine folks at the Independent Medical Alliance describe her as “an accomplished radiologist, best-selling author, and outspoken voice for science-based medicine who has spent years challenging the public health establishment… Throughout the COVID era, Dr. Saphier was among the earliest physicians to publicly question the wisdom of universal vaccination mandates for healthy children, co-authoring a widely cited Wall Street Journal op-ed with now-FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary urging that such decisions be made by parents and doctors, not bureaucrats. She has been similarly direct in challenging the American Academy of Pediatrics and other establishment bodies whose recommendations strayed from the underlying data, and in calling out federal agencies when their public messaging has outrun the science.”
