The Attempted Assassination of President Trump

July 13, 2024 – A would-be assassin (or perhaps multiple would-be assassins) shoots at Donald Trump during a rally in Butler, PA coming within an inch of taking his life and grazing his right ear. Sadly, three rally-goers were shot in the barrage of bullets, including a former volunteer fire chief and veteran who was killed while shielding his family. The other two individuals, while critically injured, should be okay.

Update (7/13/24): Immediately following the assassination attempt, hordes of degenerate leftists begin making horrible comments about how they wish Trump would have been killed… Including Rep. Bennie Thompson’s (D-MS) field director Jaqueline Marsaw who took to Facebook to write, “I don’t condone violence but please get you some shooting lessons so you don’t miss next time oops that wasn’t me saying that.” It should be recalled that Thompson, one of the leaders of the unconstitutional (and criminal) January 6th witch hunt committee, introduced legislation back in April to strip President Trump of Secret Service (USSS) protection in anticipation of a NYC kangaroo court finding him guilty of trumped-up felony charges. I can’t even imagine how these people must sound when they talk behind closed doors. We are up against truly evil, disgusting people.

Update 2 (7/14/24): Marsaw resigns from her position and is now under federal investigation. She claims she made the post after getting “overwhelmed in the moment” as a “diehard Democrat.” Give me a break… Being a “diehard” backer of a political party does not equate to blood lust – for normal people anyway.

Update 3 (7/15/24): Rep. James Comer (R-KY), Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, announces a hearing with Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle set for 7/22/24. Why that hearing is not being held today is beyond me. I guess the perpetrators need time to get their story straight…

Update 4 (7/18/24): Over the past several days evidence has emerged showing there were at least two shooters involved in Butler, PA, as well as a staggering amount of supposed incompetence – which I would say was really an intentional stand-down.

Update 5 (7/18/24): The Republican National Convention wraps up after four amazing nights of speeches and music. In addition to President Trump’s epic acceptance speech – which was the longest acceptance speech ever delivered – Hulk Hogan told America he’s not putting up with leftist bullshit anymore, and Christopher Macchio performed an amazing rendition of Nessun Dorma to close out the event. A message perhaps? One can only hope… Bravo to all of the RNC organizers. For a run down of the most deranged moments from leftist talking heads during their coverage of the RNC see this.

Update 6 (7/22/24): USSS Director Kim Cheatle testifies before the Oversight Committee, and as expected, stonewalls congress at every turn. I turned off the hearing shortly after I heard her defend the police not detaining the alleged shooter after he was seen roaming around suspiciously with a golf rangefinder by claiming this was not a “restricted item.” Wow. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) said it best when she told Cheatle she was “full of shit.” I now suspect Cheatle as being directly involved in the assassination attempt at some level, and a full participant in the cover up.

Update 7 (7/23/24): Cheatle resigns as Director of the USSS. That’s not really accountability, but it’s a start.

Update 8 (7/24/24): FBI Director and full-on swamp creature Christopher Wray testifies before the House Judiciary Committee about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. In addition to appearing as if he was trying a little too hard to be believed, Wray had the audacity to suggest Trump wasn’t hit with a bullet, saying it was maybe glass or shrapnel instead. This only fed into the conspiracy theory believed by far too many ignorant, hateful leftists that the shooting was staged. I believe this was simply Wray’s way of saying he doesn’t give a shit about Trump almost being killed, and that he’s not planning to get to the bottom of anything. Just like with the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, the FBI is only good for covering things up (also see this). I now suspect Wray as being directly involved in the assassination attempt at some level, and a full participant in the cover up. On another note, ranking member Jerry Nadler (D-NY), who may not just be one of the most reprehensible people in congress but the entire world, used his opening statement (19:38 mark) to lie repeatedly and demonize Republicans. Like I’ve said many times before, if you can sit through these hearings and not know who the good guys are and who the bad guys are, you are severely lacking in discernment.

Update 9 (7/26/24): The FBI confirms President Trump was hit by a bullet, contrary to what head FBI swamp rat Chris Wray said two days ago. I guess Captain Obvious is now doing consulting work for the bureau.

Update 10 (7/29/24): The Beaver County SWAT team on duty at the Butler rally speaks to Aaron Katersky on ABC’s Good Morning America with George Steponallofus. According to the report, the team became suspicious of the alleged shooter around 5:14pm, nearly an hour before shots rang out, yet they did nothing except take pictures of him at a very close range (about ten feet above him) and share them in a text thread among their team. Secret service later claimed to not know about said threat, likely due to the fact there was no line of communication established between the USSS and local police before the shooting. Katersky told viewers, “They told us they had no communication with the Secret Service until after the gunfire started. This SWAT team saw the shooter. They recognized him as suspicious, even took pictures of him. None of the concerns, though, had a chance of reaching decision-makers before Trump took the stage because of what these men and women described as failures of planning and communication.” Not for nothing, but someone on the local SWAT team couldn’t just yell “hey, you aren’t supposed to be over here” before checking the guy out and either taking him into custody or sticking him back over in an appropriate area? Another member of the team said (2:20 mark) he first realized something was wrong with the security that day when a meeting that was supposed to occur between the secret service and local law enforcement never happened. This thing stinks to high heaven.

Update 11 (8/1/24): Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) takes to Twitter to reveal the fact that acting USSS Director Ronald Rowe “personally directed cuts to the USSS agents who do threat assessments for events. Whistleblower says those agents were NOT present in Butler – and some of them had warned of security problems for months.” This means when Rowe lied when he said while testifying before congress on July 30th, “all assets requested were approved.” I now suspect Rowe as being directly involved in the assassination attempt at some level, and a full participant in the cover up.

Update 12 (8/2/24): During a Senate hearing, Rowe reveals none of the secret service radio communications from Butler, PA were preserved. How much more obvious can this thing get? If you recall, the FBI was up on the roof days after the shooting literally washing away any evidence that might go against their official narrative with a hose.

Update 13 (8/5/24): Hawley tells Fox News’ Jesse Watters the security that day was a “total free-for-all” and that the agent in charge of overseeing operations was known by Team Trump to be incompetent… Might be time to hire private security and tell the USSS “thanks, but no thanks.”

Update 14 (8/8/24): Newly released audio from a PA officer’s body camera shows the secret service was told repeatedly by local police to make sure the roof of the building the patsy was on top was covered.

Update 15 (8/12/24): According to a preliminary investigative report released by Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), the body of the patsy was released for cremation just ten days after the shooting. While attempting to examine the body, Higgins learned that by July 23rd the patsy’s body “was gone… Nobody knew this until Monday, August 5, including the County Coroner, law enforcement, Sheriff, etc. Yes, Butler County Coroner technically had legal authority over the body, but I spoke with the Coroner, and he would have never released Crooks’ body to the family for cremation or burial without specific permission from the FBI.”

Update 16 (8/14/24): New questions emerge about where the local sniper team was and what they were doing when Trump was shot. Hat tip to Dr. Chris Martenson at Peak Prosperity for doing a great job keeping up with and analyzing all of the new information and video footage coming out regarding the failed assassination attempt. For a general timeline of events see this.

Update 17 (8/6/24): Based on my research I believe there were two would-be assassins/shooters present in Butler, PA on 7/13/24 – the patsy on the roof and another at a similar location (possibly inside the building below where the patsy was located). I believe this to be the case because one of the rally goers who was hit by a bullet was standing up in the top row of the bleachers behind Trump at a higher point from where Trump was standing. This indicates the bullet came in at an upward trajectory, not a downward trajectory (which would be the case if the shot came from the patsy’s gun). Based on multiple analyses of the audio, there was a total of 10 shots fired – the initial three (which I believe were fired from inside the building), a burst of five shots (possibly fired in a rushed manner by the patsy after Trump had taken cover) immediately followed by a single shot (fired by a PA officer at the patsy, hitting his rifle stock and injuring him), and the final shot fired by a secret service counter sniper nearly eight seconds later (this shot killed the patsy). Not only were there several rally goers who saw the shooter crawling into position with a gun as they warned the police well in advance of any shots being fired, but local cops had started milling around the base of the building the patsy was on top of with their guns drawn (2:45 mark). The fact there was no warning to get Trump off the stage at this point is the strongest indicator he was being set up to be killed. Moreover, a new video has come out showing the patsy running across a roof behind the building he would eventually shoot from before disappearing from view to run along the roof of a covered hallway that connected the buildings, and then popping up again where he would eventually shoot from. It seems as if the patsy crawled up to take a look at his target, then crawled back down to assemble his weapon before crawling back up into position. This should have been enough time to identify and neutralize the threat, but the set of counter snipers closest to the patsy had their view obscured by trees, while the next closest set were scoping things out in the opposite direction with their backs to the patsy (not their fault, they were just covering the area they were responsible for). Had the patsy been taken out before getting into position this may have prevented the deep state shooter from ever firing a shot, but we will never know for sure. Other things that require an explanation: Neither the secret service nor the local police had anyone stationed on the nearby water tower, which would have provided a clear view of everything. Why? Trump’s campaign had been asking the secret service to beef up security in the preceding months but were rebuffed on many occasions. Why? An indoor campaign event added to Nurse Jill’s schedule just three days earlier had four times as many secret service agents on duty, essentially leaving Trump’s life in the hands of fill-ins (the infamous ponytail brigade). Why? A famous photographer who took the now-famous image of Trump pumping his fist was positioned right in front of Trump with a very powerful camera. Why? Major news networks were covering this rally live. For years they have refused to do this, but on this day they all had their cameras rolling. Why? I’ll tell you why: They wanted freedom-loving Americans (and the world) to see Trump brutally murdered. They wanted to crush the hope of a better tomorrow. They wanted to scare others away from taking up the cause of peace and prosperity. They wanted to stick a fork in America.

Update 18 (2/27/25): The NY Post runs an article, falsely described as an exclusive, titled, “Would-be Trump assassin… may have had accomplice, data show, as investigators say FBI is suppressing info.” The story briefly discusses the findings of private investigator Doug Hagmann, who along with a team of six other investigators has been working the case for months. After interviewing over 100 people and conducting an “extensive geofencing analysis of cellphones and tablets not belonging to [the alleged shooter] that were found with him at his home, at the rifle range where he took target practice, at the rally and at Bethel Park High School, where he graduated in 2022,” Hagmann and his team believe this was not the work of a lone gunman. They also believe this “criminal network” is still operating, and is still focused on assassinating President Trump. Hagmann also told the Post “he was personally escorted to the Butler County line and told to leave twice during the course of his team’s investigation. The people who did so were either federal agents or some type of private security.” Sadly, the article contains less than 10 sentences focused on their supposedly “exclusive” content before readers are led to believe the supposed lone gunman acted alone and that prescription drugs made him “crazy” despite there being no evidence to support this. To the author’s credit, she did note how “the Pittsburgh County medical examiner, strangely, did not perform toxicological tests for pharmaceuticals – or at least did not include them in the autopsy report. Even more oddly, [the shooter’s] body was released to his parents eight days after the shooting without most officials involved in the investigation knowing – and was promptly cremated.” While the article does not mention who hired Hagmann and his team, it’s quite possible it was the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project.

Update 19 (2/27/25): Former US Capitol Police (USCP) Lieutenant Tarik Johnson issues an open letter to current USCP Chief, Thomas Manger, demanding he come clean to the public about the USCP allowing an armed man to get within feet of President Trump during his 1/20/25 swearing-in ceremony. According to the letter, “a high-ranking USCP official authorized an uninvited (non-ticketed) guest to attend President Trump’s Swearing-In Ceremony… said guest was allowed to by-pass security screening and was in possession of a handgun. If the invitation was impromptu that would mean that the guest was not vetted in advance by either the [USCP] or the United States Secret Service… this unvetted guest was spotted in multiple locations where President Trump was and only feet away from him… the USCP official involved is under investigation because of this incident and was transferred out of the Protective Services Bureau until the conclusion of the investigation.” Johnson alluded to having this knowledge two days ago and gave Manger 48 hours to share this information with the American people, which he obviously did not.

Update 20 (3/7/25): Tarik Johnson takes to X to blow the whistle about another serious security breach that took place during President Trump’s joint address to Congress at the US Capitol Building just a few days ago (on the 4th). Without providing details, Johnson is giving Thomas Manger until noon Monday (the 10th) to inform the American people about what has been transpiring on his watch.

Update 21 (3/8/25): Because things are “developing rapidly,” Johnson decides to reveal what he has learned via X instead of waiting until Monday, writing in part, “[on the day of the joint address to Congress] a House staffer gained entry into one of the House office buildings that leads to the U.S. Capitol. That staffer was in possession of a gun. He was eventually caught and arrested. What makes the problem even worse I’m told the staffer asked (after his arrest) what the problem was with this as no one said anything to him about him bringing the gun in the previous day. This is the fourth instance of a gun being brought in a building policed by USCP Chief J Thomas Manger since Trump was elected President. What is frightening to me is that both dates that President Trump attended events at the Capitol it was on a date where a gun made it in one of the buildings and I’m told one of the guns made it in a room where President Trump was actually in and only feet away from him.”

Update 22 (3/11/25): USCP Chief Thomas Manger announces he will be retiring on May 2nd. According to the linked ABC-7 article, “[w]hen announcing his retirement, Manger highlighted the fact that the USCP met all 103 recommendations made by the Office of Inspector General to improve police response after January 6th.” In what is probably just a coincidence, Manger’s announcement came just hours after right wing political operative Roger Stone told his Stone Zone audience about the security breaches that occurred on Inauguration Day and during the joint address on March 4th. Also see this and this.

Update 23 (4/13/25): Zach De Gregorio publishes a video at his Wolves and Finance YouTube channel running down some of the recent revelations surrounding the attempted assassination. Some of the questions raised in his presentation include: 1) The supposed shooter had two cell phones. Why would he need two phones if he acted alone? 2) The shell casings on the roof were located relatively close to the body, not further away where they should have ended up based on the type of gun he was supposedly firing. Why? Were they placed there? Moreover, aerial views show the gun pretty far away from the supposed shooter’s dead body. How and why did it get there? 3) There is a photograph of one of the officers pulling on the patsy’s arm while he was lying dead on the roof. What is the reason for this? Is it customary to reposition a dead body laying in the middle of a crime scene? 4) At some point the police rolled the corpse onto his belly and then zip-tied his hands together behind his back. Why? He was already dead and posed no threat. 5) The dead body was left on the roof overnight (about 12 hours). The local coroner apparently came around midnight, but then left before returning again at 6am. The body was then driven 45 minutes away to the coroner’s office in Allegheny County instead of the one just ten minutes away. Why? Even if you needed to drive the body to Allegheny, shouldn’t it have at least been stored at the local coroner instead of being left on the roof? 6) According to the coroner’s report, a bag of hair arrived with the body. The report states, “the body is accompanied by a clear plastic bag containing medium length brown hair (submitted as evidence).” This makes no sense. Why not just leave the hair alone and let it be cut once it arrives in Allegheny? Was the hair intended to be the DNA “evidence” of a different person? 7) The physical stature of the body described in the report seems to be too large for the supposed patsy, especially the weight (167 lbs). Some people think the patsy/supposed shooter/possible shooter was not who we were told it was, but instead a man named Maxwell Yearick. I certainly think this is a possibility based on the resemblance between Yearick and the dead body, as well as what looks like a scar on the right ear where a gauge used to be in place (see image below). 8) The t-shirt being worn by the patsy in the pictures taken and shared by the Beaver County SWAT team (update 10 above) shows a large image on the back of the patsy’s grey t-shirt. The grey t-shirt being worn by the dead person on the roof had no image on the back. The coroner’s report also mentions the shirt, describing it as having “DEMOLITIA” written on the front. This is the same shirt with the image on the back based on images taken of the patsy at various points before the shooting. Was this information included in the report to fill-in one of the blanks on the patsy narrative? Was the coroner – who was coincidentally in Israel responding in the aftermath of the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack – lying about some or most of the details?

Update 24 (4/7/25): The Network Contagion Research Institute publishes a 17-page report titled, “Assassination Culture: How Burning Teslas and Killing Billionaires Became a Meme Aesthetic for Political Violence.” According to a survey they conducted, “31% and 38% of respondents stated it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk and President Trump, respectively. These effects were driven by respondents that self-identified as left of center, with 48% and 55% at least somewhat justifying murder for Elon Musk and President Trump, respectively… Nearly 40% of respondents stated it is at least somewhat acceptable to destroy a Tesla dealership in protest… These beliefs are highly correlated with one another, as well as with the justification of the murder of the UnitedHealthcare CEO and hyper-partisan left-wing ideology.” The saying “liberalism is a mental disorder” isn’t just a funny way to insult people on the left, it’s an accurate way of describing what their problem is. Check out the report for more details.

Update 25 (5/18/25): In what can only be described as a disappointing turn of events, FBI Director Kash Patel and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino tell Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo that the patsy shooter who was killed on the roof in Butler acted alone. Making matters even worse, they also told Bartiromo that billionaire psycho sex trafficker and child molester Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in prison… Give me a break. I think it’s now fair to ask a serious question: Have Patel and Bongino been taken hostage by the deep state through threats and intimidation? Update (5/19/25): Former Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington, who is very hardcore, isn’t buying the lone gunman theory either. To express her outrage, she took to X and posted in part, “I’m sorry, the investigation into J13 is closed? Who were you briefed by? The people who came in, hosed down the crime scene, cremated the body, stonewalled congressional investigators, and lawyered up the family? …If this is true, they need to come out with everything they know about why and HOW a 20 year old pulled that off…” They should, but at this point they probably won’t.

Update 26 (7/12/25): Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) takes to X to reveal the findings of a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report he requested, writing, “NEW GAO REPORT IM RELEASING says Secret Service knew of a threat 2Pres Trump’s life 10 DAYS b4 Butler but didnt share info w staff on the ground so they were unprepared Rpt identifies Sct Service problems+ recommends fixes This info NVR wld hv been made public w/o CONG OVERSIGHT.” This new information is in line with the theory that the government was involved with the attempt on Trump’s life – it was not the act of a lone wolf. I also think Senator Grassley should probably just cough up the few dollars per month it would cost to be able to make longer posts on X instead of putting out important information the same way a teenager would. Sorry not sorry, Chuck.

Update 27 (7/12/25): During an interview with Fox and Friends, Helen Comperatore – the wife of Corey Comperatore (the man who was killed by one of the would-be assassin’s bullets), tells the hosts, “I’m really right at the beginning where I was back a year ago. You know, we really haven’t healed that much. You know, we have no answers… Why was that such a failure that day? What was the reason? Why did he walk around for an hour without someone grabbing him?”

Update 28 (7/13/25): On the anniversary of the attempt on Donald Trump’s life, the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs releases a damning 22-page report revealing “a former President of the United States and major party candidate was shot in the head at a public rally by an individual who was reported as suspicious and carrying a rangefinder to the Secret Service at least 25 minutes prior.” The accompanying press release states in part, “Former Director Kimberly Cheatle falsely testified to Congress that no USSS asset requests were denied for the Butler rally.” Committee Chairman Rand Paul (R-KY) is also quoted in the release as saying, “What happened in Butler, Pennsylvania, was not just a tragedy – it was a scandal. The United States Secret Service failed to act on credible intelligence, failed to coordinate with local law enforcement, and failed to prevent an attack that nearly took the life of a then-former president. Despite those failures, no one has been fired. And we only know what little discipline was handed out because I issued a subpoena. That’s unacceptable. This was not a single lapse in judgment. It was a complete breakdown of security at every level – fueled by bureaucratic indifference, a lack of clear protocols, and a shocking refusal to act on direct threats. We must hold individuals accountable and ensure reforms are fully implemented so this never happens again.” If you’re a reader of this website you know I have a lot of respect for Rand Paul, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Update 29 (7/13/25): Kimberly Cheatle releases a statement in response to Senate committee’s report, describing what happened that day as “literally a perfect storm of events.” She goes on to say in part, “Any assertion or implication that I provided misleading testimony is patently false and does a disservice to those men and women on the front lines who have been unfairly disciplined for a team, rather than individual, failure.” I always find it troubling when political people distract from their failures – or in this case their direct involvement in a tragedy – by hiding behind “those men and women on the front lines.” This is pure deflection. Also see this.

Update 30 (7/13/25): Real Clear Politics Correspondent Susan Crabtree takes to X to reveal some startling information, writing in part, “Who signed off on the Butler security plan the day before the Butler rally even though there were discrepancies on how the AGR building roof would be covered in the plan? Would you be surprised to learn it was: Sean Curran, the head of the Donald Trump campaign detail, along with a supervisor for the Butler rally on his same Donald Trump detail, Nick Menster, and an inspector who was acting in a supervisory role, Nick Olszweksi… All three got big promotions after Butler. Curran is obviously the Secret Service director, Menster is the No. 2 on the Lara and Eric Trump detail, and Olszweski, is ironically in charge of the Inspections Division, which falls under the Office of Professional Responsibility and ironically is charged with maintaining accountability and integrity for all USSS operations. Who promoted the two Nicks? Curran. None of those three supervisors received ANY discipline, but the two top bosses in he Pittsburgh Field Offices took the fall.” Were these promotions a reward for their participation in a plot to kill President Trump? Sure looks that way.

Update 31 (8/20/25): Able Child publishes an article titled, “Trump Attempted Assassin’s Identity Still Not Known in Butler, PA.” The piece reads in part, “AbleChild has recently obtained a copy of the much sought after autopsy results of alleged attempted assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks. In a word, the autopsy leaves a lot to be desired and, frankly, even with the autopsy, the public still has not been provided physical evidence to, once and for all, indict Thomas Matthew Crooks as the shooter. First, the autopsy of the alleged shooter was only made public when the Headline USA reporter, Kenneth Silva, filed suit with the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records (OOR) to obtain ‘the medical examiner case information summary, as well as all lab analysis reports, exam images, pathology reports, histology slide recuts, toxicology reports, and scene images for Thomas Matthew Crooks.’ The request also included ‘all records that document the transportation and chain of custody of Crooks’s body from the crime scene to the Alleghany (sic) County Office of the Medical Examiner or any other coroner’s office, including yours – including all internal communications about this decision.’ As expected, and in keeping with all the other investigative reports and materials surrounding this attempted assassination, the request was denied. Silva appealed and was awarded the right to the autopsy but any information dealing with the “histology slides (which would determine the DNA of the shooter), crime scene photos and exam images were denied. What is most interesting is that despite the entire free world still blabbing about Thomas Matthew Crooks being the shooter, the data released by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner (ME) not only doesn’t describe how the body autopsied was identified, but admits that the Butler County Coroner, William Young, did not provide written communications about the transport or chain of custody of the deceased. Why?” Check out the article for the rest of the details.

Probably not the smartest thing to do after being shot at, but certainly a big F-U to the people who want him dead.

Google doing their best to interfere in the election by helping us forget all about this… Update (8/5/24): Google admits they were doing this.

The patsy walking around before the shooting in a grey t-shirt (he’s also very skinny).

The picture on the right was taken and shared by the Beaver County SWAT Team.

You could ask a million people and I think just about all of them would say it’s Yearick. This would not only mean there was another patsy in addition to Crooks, but it would raise questions about what happened to Crooks if it was Yearick who was shot on the roof. I know, I know. This is pretty wild stuff.
